4 Great Holiday Gifts to Give Your Neighbors

I think it’s always special to acknowledge your neighbors at Christmas, but what do you give them that won’t break the bank and won’t make them feel obligated to run out and get something for you in return? I’ve come up with four great ideas this year for something a little extra special to share. For you talented bakers, decorative cookies like the red doors shown above would be wonderful. You could arrange them on a pretty white plate from HomeGoods for them to keep.

I love this decorative candle. Just put some epsom salts in the bottom of a glass (or jar), add a scented candle, a little ribbon or twine and a holiday poem. You could light the candle and show up on your neighbor’s doorstep to bring them a little cheer.

Are you the neighbor with the sense of humor?  This is the perfect gift for you to give. You can find whisks at HomeGoods and then just add some Hershey’s Kisses and a note. You can read the full tutorial on Views From the ‘Ville.

And for my fourth and final gift idea for this holiday season, place a spring bulb — freesia or paperwhites are lovely — with some Sphagnum moss in a glass, add some ribbon and your holiday greeting. You can get a great deal on glasses at HomeGoods.

Do you have a special gift idea for the neighbors? We’d love you to share it so leave us a comment!
